Biography

Kiersten Hewitt is a first-generation attorney who recently transitioned from Mississippi to Winter Haven, Florida. Raised in a small Southern town by two loving, hardworking parents and alongside her younger sister, Kiersten’s upbringing instilled in her the values of determination, service, and perseverance. These principles guide her legal practice and commitment to making a meaningful impact in her clients’ lives.

Kiersten began her academic journey at The University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration on a prestigious academic scholarship. Majoring in Sports Management, she honed her organizational and leadership skills through an internship with the university’s athletic department and active involvement in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the Sports Management Club. Her academic dedication earned her invitations to esteemed honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma, recognizing her as a top performer in her field.

Driven to elevate her career, Kiersten attended Mississippi College School of Law on a significant academic scholarship. Graduating cum laude and in the top 20% of her class, Kiersten also earned a Certificate in International and Comparative Law, an ABA-recognized distinction. Her leadership roles as President of the International Law Society and Finance Officer for the Moot Court Board highlighted her natural ability to lead and inspire. She also served as a Teacher’s Assistant in Civil Procedure and Federal Taxation, where she mentored and guided fellow students.

Kiersten’s excellence didn’t stop in the classroom. Her dedication to advocacy earned her induction into the prestigious Order of the Barristers, a national recognition for outstanding advocacy skills. She was honored with the William B. Lovett Jr. Memorial Award, celebrated for her tenacity and perseverance. She placed second in the 2024 Bayou Classic Trial Competition and earned the title of Best Attorney Defendant in the Richard Schwartz Internal Trial Competition.

Kiersten’s practical legal experience is just as impressive. As a Law Clerk at Frascogna Law Group, she drafted critical legal documents, conducted in-depth legal research, and helped clients navigate complex legal landscapes. Later, as an Immigration Specialist with VisaLex, Kiersten provided personalized guidance on immigration processes, ensuring compliance with ever-changing laws while crafting tailored strategies to help clients achieve their goals.

Kiersten believes that the practice of law is most effective when it fosters collaboration and constructive dialogue among all parties, while thoughtfully integrating the client’s personal goals. She approaches each case with a distinctive blend of empathy and determination, striving to achieve resolution whenever possible. Outside the office, Kiersten is a devoted wife to her husband, Caleb Hewitt, and a lover of life’s simple joys. She spends her free time reading, exploring Disney parks, and cherishing moments with her family.
