Andrew John Manie is a senior attorney at RAK Law PLLC, where he also serves as the head of the firm’s Mediation Services Department. Born in Queens, New York, into a family with roots in Trinidad and Tobago, Andrew was raised in the Virgin Islands before settling in North Lauderdale, Florida. His diverse upbringing gives him a unique perspective on life and the law, enabling him to connect with clients from all walks of life. The day after his 18th birthday, driven by a strong sense of duty, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Serving as a communications repairman with an infantry battalion, he was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His time in the military instilled in him the values of discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment—qualities that continue to shape his legal practice.

While serving in the military, Andrew earned a degree in Political Science from American Military University. After his honorable discharge in 2011, he pursued his Juris Doctor at Barry University School of Law, graduating in 2014. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015 and has since dedicated his career to helping clients navigate some of the most challenging legal situations they may face.

Andrew launched his legal career at a well-established firm, where he gained invaluable experience in bankruptcy and debt defense. He represented clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, negotiated settlements, and litigated cases against financial institutions and homeowners’ associations, including foreclosure defense and debt restructuring. After two years, he joined a firm that represented healthcare professionals in disciplinary actions and assisted healthcare offices in recovering unpaid fees, further broadening his expertise in business law and financial disputes.

In 2017, Andrew took a leap of faith and opened his own law firm, successfully representing clients in a wide range of legal matters for five years. In 2022, he transitioned to Integreon Managed Solutions, where he served as the lead trainer, overseeing the training of contract analysts for the Nike account. This role allowed him to refine his skills in contract analysis and dispute resolution, while showcasing his leadership and mentorship abilities.

Andrew joined RAK Law in 2024 and has since spearheaded the firm’s Mediation Services Department. A certified mediator for the past five years, he has successfully guided numerous disputes to resolution, often employing creative approaches to “make the deal work.” Passionate about alternative dispute resolution, he takes pride in serving as a neutral party who helps both sides find fair and practical solutions. In his view, a true settlement is one in which neither party feels they have definitively won or lost, but both walk away with a balanced, equitable agreement. His extensive legal experience, combined with the discipline and dedication he honed in the military, makes him a formidable advocate for clients facing complex legal challenges.

Outside of his professional life, Andrew is a devoted father who loves spending time on the water with his two children, whether kayaking or fishing. An avid sports fan, he also enjoys catching a game whenever he can. Drawing from his own experiences, he understands how stressful and overwhelming legal matters can be. His mission is to provide clients with the same clarity, guidance, and support he relied on during his military service—helping them face the legal landscape with confidence and achieve the best possible outcomes
